What is coffee?
The coffee bean we have come to know comes from the seed of a coffee cherry. These cherries can be grown all around the world with the appropriate climates. In fact, the variation in coffee depends on the origination. Different origins each have their own growing climates/ altitudes/ and harvesting process. As these cherries grow and ripen, they are harvested, processed using various methods, and then set out to dry. Once the beans have been completely dried out, they are then exported around the world. Sweet Eye Coffee imports only specialty Grade A beans which come from only the ripest cherries and are thoroughly inspected for defects and flawed beans. Once imported, Sweet Eye reinspects each batch of beans before they are put through the roasting process. It isn't until your order has been placed that your coffee will be roasted. Unlike the other brands of coffees that you buy from your supermarkets that have been roasted months to a year in advance, our roast-to-order process allows for the freshest and most vibrant flavors to characterize your cup of coffee.
